Family of YBŞ (Shengal Resistance Units) fighter Adnan Reşo Qulo (Arif Şengali) who was murdered by KDP-AKP gangs in Shengal's Khanasor town on 3 March spoke to ANF.
The family described the aggression on Khanasor as an “attack of betrayal”.
“WE WILL NOT LEAVE SHENGAL TO ANYONE”
Father Reşo Qulo stressed that they will not allow another massacre against the Êzidîs, saying; "If they come here fraternally, they are welcome, we will receive them. However, they came here to commit a massacre, which we will never allow. We will not allow anyone to occupy our land and to take the Mount Shengal, we will fight to the last drop of blood to stop this. I hope the Êzidîs will unite and break these attacks of the enemy. This has nothing to do with brotherhood. We are facing with more massacres every day. This group that attacked Khanasor is made up of Turkish groups and gangs that long to possess our girls and women. We do not want anyone to die. However, we want those deployed here to know that we will not leave Mount Shengal to anyone."
"THEY WANT TO MASSACRE ÊZIDÎS"
YBŞ fighter's brother pointed out that the attack aimed a massacre of the Êzidîs, saying; "They martyred my brother. Those attacking us now are the same people that attacked and perpetrated a massacre in Shengal before. We will resist to the last drop of blood."
