A group from the Communist Youth Organisation (KGÖ) from Turkey have joined the ranks of armed struggle in determination to bring those responsible to account after being the direct target of Suruç massacre and suffering dozens of casualties in the most recent Ankara bombing.
'WE REJECT THIS ORDER AND ALL ITS INSTITUTIONS'
“We reject this order and all its institutions” said the communist youths in their statement after taking up arms in the areas of free struggle. The militants of Communist Youth's Organisation called upon youths to join their struggle against persecution, war, fascism, sexism and inequality.
The statement read out in Kurdish and Turkish by Roza Peyman and Erdal Cebo on behalf of the militants said “It is now time to transcend the boundaries from cities to universities, workplaces and all areas. We have lots of possibilities to destroy this system of the dominants, and we are by no means without choices. Let us turn our faces towards the lands of revolution, streets, barricades, mountains, to the free areas for a world in which humanity becomes the power”.
The militants stressed in their statement that: “We are the youth massacred in Pirsus. We are the children of Mother Meryem whose white scarf was drenched in blood and comrades of 9-year-old Veysel. We are the insurgent spirit of Gezi. We are the bridge between the past and the future; common voice of the Kurdish and Turkish youth, young conscience of the oppressed”
'WE WILL NOT FORGET OR FORGIVE ANY MASSACRE'
“We know about those who massacred the youth that departed to touch the Rojava Revolution and join the rebuilding of Kobane; the workers and the labourers who gathered in Ankara to shout out for peace for fraternity, from Kızıldere, Madımak and Roboski. We know the identities of the murderers written in the eyes of the children shot dead on the streets in Cizre, Silopi and Gever. We will not forget any of them, we will not forgive and we will ask account”, stressed the youths.
Roza Peyman said they have taken up arms against the dirty system that imposes the youths a life without honour and future and massacres those who stand up against it. Peyman called upon the youths to take to the areas of freedom and exceed the borders for a world ruled by humanity.
CALL TO MUSLIM YOUTHS
Drawing attention to the exploitation of since faiths by the AKP government, the ISIS of Turkey, the communist militants also voiced a particular call to Muslim youths to join to this dignified and justified front.
Drawing attention to the importance of a joint struggle by the youths of Kurdistan and Turkey, the communists called on the poor youths of Anatolia, rebellious youths of the Black Sea, rebellious youths of Kurdistan and the Alevi youths to step up the freedom struggle all together.
'WE HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THE SYSTEM THAT IGNORES WOMEN'
The statement further called on young women to elude their female roles, rebel against male dominance, their status as second sex and second class, sexual slavery and father-husband-state violence, saying; “We have the power to change this system which despises female reason, ignores women and rejects their will. Let us reclaim our encroached freedom and march to victory with our organized power.”
'INSURRECTION TILL VICTORY'
The statement of the communist youth called on all university and high school students, the employed and unemployed, Turkish, Kurdish, Laz, Circassian, Armenian youths and LGBTs to join the struggle of the Communist Youth's Organisation and fight in ranks of MLKP for equality, freedom and justice.
“Let the castles of the state persecution to become their graves. Let our struggle for dignity and freedom flourish on their ruins”, ended the statement.
