BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) Party Council (PM) organized a two days meeting, where it decided to carry out all commission works and activities in accordance with the election basis. BDP will swiftly complete its organizational works including district commissions and actualize its election strategy.
Election workings and organizational situation were the main subjects of the PM meeting of Peace and Democracy Party on Sunday and Monday. Opinions and proposals were taken concerning the election strategy in technical dimensions at the meeting, where a consensus was reached that all workings are going to be planned “with respect to election basis”. It was reported that opinions and proposals were taken in many respects like “How should the election preparations work, which methods should be followed for the election, independent candidates, unity questions”, while unities were particularly leaned to.
While the opinion of “making the organization prepared in no time” was agreed for election works, the council, in this respect, decided for the completion of congresses in required places, counties and towns and strengthening of managements in non-required places. At the meeting, opinions were stated concerning charging district organizations with “forming neighborhood commissions in a shortest time” on the purpose of taking works in this respect to local units. At the meeting, the commission decided for preparations oriented at the second trial of KCK case on 13 January. The proposals brought forward will be finalized after a review at Election Commission and MYK and will make up the election strategy of BDP.
Besides the discussions about election workings and organizational situation, assignments were also made at the meeting. Accordingly; PM member Musa Ertaþ was assigned to Vice Chairmanship in substitution for Nihat Uðraþ who left MYK, while MYK member Hatice Çoban was assigned to Organization Commission Headship.
