“The Kurdistan freedom guerrilla is mounting self-sacrificing resistance to build a free future for our people and a dignified life. The freedom guerrilla of Leader Apo (Öcalan) is are writing an epic every day at heavy cost.

This tradition of resistance is the hope of our people and our fraternal peoples and the guarantee of our freedom. The Garê resistance once again defeated the occupant and genocidal Turkish army which uses the most advanced military technologies to destroy the Kurds. This resistance is not just a military counteraction, but the resistance of the free will and collective mind represented by the guerrilla against the death technique of fascism. In this respect, it is art itself. The art of the Kurdistan guerrilla is a proof of human emotion, will and invincibility.”

'EVERY KURDISH ARTIST SHOULD EMBRACE IT'

Speaking about their work, Artist Diyar Dersim pointed out that every Kurdish artist should value the guerrilla resistance and the Garê victory and question himself on this basis.

Diyar Dersim continued, “I call on our people to embrace stronger our freedom guerrilla that destroys one by one the so-called indestructible strongholds of fascism that have been built on the blood and values of our peoples. In addition, I invite all my revolutionary and patriotic artist friends to be the voice of the guerrilla and to sing the strans (ballad) of the revolution louder.
