Harvest time had begun in Northern and Eastern Syria. As every year, the Turkish state and its mercenaries set fire to cultivated areas in many areas.
Mercenary groups affiliated with the Turkish state set fire to the fields in the border areas in the rural areas of Manbij Canton, burning large agricultural areas and olive trees.
The mercenaries also set fire to the agricultural areas of the villages of Qirtwêrana Mezin, Qirtwêrana Biçûk and Yalnî, located near their base in the occupied village of Şêx Nasır. Firefighters and villagers extinguished the fire that almost reached the houses.
According to the first information received by ANHA, a total of 500 hectares of agricultural land, including 6 thousand olive trees in the villages of Qirtwêrana Mezin and Qirtwêrana Biçûk and 2 thousand olive trees in the village of Yalnî were burned.
The Turkish army and its mercenaries in the occupied village of Kirêdiyê set fire to the cultivated areas of the villages of Ceble El Hemra, Hûte, Cib Mexzom, Mîlwêran and burned an area of about a thousand hectares. In addition, 3 thousand 500 olive trees were burned in the village of Ceble El Hemra, 2 thousand 500 in Hûte and 1600 in Mîlwêran.
