The HPG Press Center said that the Turkish army bombed the Medya Defense Zones three times using banned explosives, five times with warplanes, and 1,076 times with heavy weapons, artillery, and howitzers.

According to the HPG statement, the attacks with banned explosives occurred on April 29 and May 1, when tunnels in the Girê Amêdîyê Resistance Area of the Şehîd Delîl Western Zap region were bombed three times.

The Turkish army carried out airstrikes on April 28, 29, and 30, targeting the Girê Bahar Resistance Area in the same region five times.

As for the heavy weapon attacks, on April 29, 30, and May 1, the Berê Zînê, Lolan, and Sinînê Resistance Areas of the Xakurkê region were hit 42 times; the Girê Zengil, Girê Reşît, Zêvkê, Girgaşê, Spîndarê, Mijê, and Dêreşê areas of the Garê region were bombed 90 times; the Şêlazê, Bêşîlî, and Serê Metîna Resistance Areas of the Metîna region were bombed 417 times; and the Girê Amêdîyê and Girê Bahar Resistance Areas of the Şehîd Delîl Western Zap region were targeted 527 times. In total, there were 1,076 bombardments with heavy weaponry.

On April 29, 30, and May 1, the Turkish army also used crushing and drilling excavators to attack tunnel positions in the Girê Bahar and Girê Amêdîyê Resistance Areas.

In response, on April 29 at 15:30, HPG forces destroyed a drone loaded with explosives in the Sinînê Resistance Area of the Xakurkê region. At 13:30 and 13:45 the same day, in the Bazê Resistance Area of Metîna, YJA Star forces struck targets using automatic weapons and sniper tactics, damaging one position and destroying a surveillance camera.

Also on April 29, HPG forces fired on excavators attacking tunnel positions in the Girê Bahar Resistance Area, damaging one excavator. On April 30 at 15:05, in the Girê Amêdîyê Resistance Area, HPG forces responded with a special tactic to Turkish forces calling for surrender, hitting one of their positions.
