Three Turkish soldiers killed and mercenaries injured in SDF operations

The Syrian Democratic Forces continue their operations against occupation forces in North-East Syria.

The Press Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released a statement announcing the details of their latest operations against occupation forces:

“In response to the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, our forces conducted yesterday a series of operations targeting the bases of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in the vicinity of the Qara Qwzaq Bridge, including the Qara Qwzaq hill and other hills where the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries are stationed. These operations resulted in the confirmed elimination of three Turkish occupation soldiers and two mercenaries were wounded. Additionally, our Martyr Haroun Units targeted a point belonging to the mercenaries in the Qara Qwzaq hill, destroying it completely.

On the front of the Tishreen Dam, our fighters shot down a suicide drone belonging to the mercenaries in the vicinity of the dam. Meanwhile, the Turkish occupation warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on the dam surroundings, coinciding with heavy artillery shelling, which caused material damage.

The Turkish occupation warplanes also launched several other airstrikes targeting the villages of al-Tineh and Ghasaq, south of Kobani, causing material damage, coinciding with indiscriminate shelling using heavy artillery, tanks shells, rocket launchers and mortars on the villages of al-Tineh, Ja’dah, Bir Hisso, Ghasaq, Dekan, Melha and al-San’a as well as the Saifi hill and Qara Qwzaq hill.
In this context, the Turkish occupation warplanes launched an airstrike targeting the town of Shekhler / Al-Shuyoukh, west of Kobani, but the missile launched did not explode. The Turkish occupation warplanes continued patrolling the sky of the region.

The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries also intensively bombarded the countryside of Ain Issa town with heavy artillery, resulting in material damage to the civilians’ property.”
