The statue of Adile Xanim, the famous Kurdish woman who ruled Halabja alone for 15 years, was made in 2008 by Sculptor Zahir Sidiq.
The statue, which was made by spending 27 million dinars, was placed in the Baxê Gishti Park in Halabja. The sculpture was ruined by vandals and has been waiting to be restored for nearly a year.
