On the first day of the 9th Rojava Culture and Arts Festival organized by the Rojava Kurdistan Intellectuals Union (HRRK), a panel titled "Kurdish grammar between acceptance and criticism" was held.

The Kurmanji Grammar book was published this year by the Kurdish Language Association (SZK).

The panel was chaired by the two authors of the book, SZK co-chair Viyan Hesen and SZK member Ferhad Musa, as well as SZK member Ferid Xelil.

SZK co-chair Viyan Hesen told to ANHA that they have been ready to accept criticism since the day the work was published and added: "We have engaged in many useful discussions. Some people have sent their opinions on some issues, and we read and evaluate those opinions. If some changes are necessary, we will make them."

Speaking at the panel, Kurdish teacher Hesen Mele Hesen said that the Kurdish Grammar book is necessary for a unified language.

Hesen said: "The authors wanted to make the concepts more understandable for the people of Rojava. Language teachers should send their comments and evaluations to SZK in order to improve the Kurmanji Grammar study."

On the second day of the festival, a special panel was dedicated to he poems of Kurdish poet Cegerxwîn.

Academic Farid Sedun stated that dozens of critical books on Cegerxwîn's works should have been published because he was one of the people whose poems could not be understood by people who did not know his life.

Sedun said that Kurdish history is told in Cegerxwîn's poems and added: "There are two things that are important for poetry. The language and content of poetry are interrelated. There is a great balance and harmony in Cegerxwin's poems. Cegerxwîn is one of unprecedented value in the world."
