The Democratic Autonomous Administration Culture and Arts Board is working on the opening of the 9th Painting Exhibition.
The exhibition, which will open on Friday 24 August at the Erd El Seide Hall in Raqqa Canton, will last for 3 days. 80 artists from all cities of Syria will participate in the exhibition.
Serfiraz Serif, co-chair of the Culture and Tourism Board, said: "We received the paintings made by the artists. An expert committee is evaluating the paintings to be exhibited. This is the first time that participants from other regions of Syria are participating."
Serfiraz Serif said that touristic places in Raqqa and Tabqa will be visited, different artistic events will be held and certificates will be distributed to those who attend the exhibition, and added: "Many messages will be included in the exhibition. With this art event, peace, love, solidarity between peoples and all that is happening in the Syrian regions will be told."
