The theme of The Durango Basque Book and Record Fair, which is an indisputable appointment to discover the latest musical and literature work products, is eroticism this year while the guest country is Kurdistan.
The 45th edition of The Durango Basque Book and Record Fair will be taking place on 4-8 December (http://www.durangokoazoka.com) in Vizcaya (Bizkaia in Basque language), which is the northwest part of Basque autonomous region in Spain.
The Durango Saloon enables many families, associations and institutions the possibility to discover the latest work products in Basque language. Including meetings of authors and publishers besides concerts, a rich schedule was prepared in the frame of this organization.
According to the main innovations in the saloon explained by Gerediaga Institution; the main subject of the 45th fair is eroticism and Kurdistan will be the guest country. 505 innovations will be represented at 285 boots and 138 exhibitions in a 4 thousand m2 saloon.
In the fair, musician Imanol Urbieta will receive the Argizaiola prize for his career and his contributions to Basque language and culture. The musician will be awarded on 4 December at 20.30 at San Agustin Cultural Center.
1934 Zarautz born Urbieta is a famous composer and makes folk music in Basque language.
