In the panel discussion organized by the KNK (Kurdistan National Congress) in Salim Cinema in Sulaymaniyah, artists held a discussion on the necessity of a Kurdish National Congress and stated that the National Congress is of vital importance for the Kurds.
The panel discussion was attended by Necmedîn Xulamî, Nasir Rezazî, Xana Zezê, Hozan Comerd, Diyar Dêrsim, Xelîl Xemgîn, Şemdîn and Zozan Gabar.
The artists drew attention to the World War III centered in the Middle East, with Kurdistan and the Kurdish people in the center, and pointed out that the Kurds need to fight in national unity so Sykes-Picot and Lausanne are not repeated. The artists stated that any organizations who don’t come to this will be guilty in the eyes of history.
The artists also stated that artists should play their role for the National Congress as the conscience of the society and that artists should take part in this process through various organizations.
The panel discussion was organized by the KNK and attended by Necmedîn Xulamî, Nasir Rezazî, Xana Zezê, Hozan Comerd, Diyar Dêrsim, Xelîl Xemgîn, Şemdîn and Zozan Gabar.
The artists have a benefit concert today for the guerrilla and the peshmerga in Kirkuk.
