The Raqqa Canton Hîlala Zêrin Women’s Culture and Art Movement released the videoclip 'Jina Sûriyeyê' as part of the 8 March International Women’s Day celebrations.

Hîlala Zêrin decorated the Free Women’s Square with flags. Dozens of women from Raqqa, members of civilian and military institutions, and the Zenûbiya Women’s Community attended the event.

Speaking on behalf of the Northern and Eastern Syria Zenûbiya Women’s Community, Xûd El Isa said: “We are saying that we will fight from the Raqqa Free Women’s Square, which is considered the capital of democracy, until we provide equality and freedom to all women in the world.”

El Isa continued: "Today, we are writing heroic epics based on the ideas and will of Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Women became pioneers and are fighting thanks to the Leader Öcalan."

The event ended with the presentation of the new song. The video was shot in Caber Castle, one of the historical places in Tabqa Canton.

Thirty female members of the groups 'Palmêra' and 'Biskên Def' participated in the shooting of the clip. The lyrics of the song belong to the poet Emîr El Qewafî and the music belongs to Xemîs Tamê.
