The guerrilla band Awazê Çiya has released the clip ‘YJA Star’ in memory of the guerrillas Sara Tolhildan Goyî and Rûken Zelal who fell in Mersin two years ago. The Kurdish song is dedicated to all female fighters of the Free Women's Troops (YJA Star) and begins with the words ‘We are the women of the mountains from the land of the sun’. The clip also shows footage of guerrilla actions against the occupation of Kurdistan.

Sara Tolhildan Goyî (Dilara Ürper) and Rûken Zelal (Feremez Hisên) carried out a self-sacrificing action against a Turkish police base in Mersin on 26 September 2022. The two guerrillas entered the base and shot the guard at the entrance. More shots were fired inside the base, and then they blew themselves up among the police forces present. The action was a response to the repression in prisons, the massacre of the Kurdish people and the use of chemical weapons against the guerrillas.
