Documentary Film Days will be the first organisation in terms of carrying the past to the future.

Message of the mayor, Zülküf Karakter, was read in the ceramony. He emphasis that he could not attend to the cerimony because he is prisoner with more than one thousands five hundered Kurdish politicians because of political genocide operations. He said that; “documentaries are a tool to be confronted with our past and find the truths. it will help to carry the pains, that happened in this region in the last 30 years like unsolved killings, extrajudicial punishments, emptying the villages,  from past to the future and transfer to the next generations.

After reading message, mayor of the Kayapýnar municipality , Mahmut Dað made opening speech and said that they developed a local administration understanding that is over the classical municipality understanding.

Dað continued his speech with these sentences; “ From the 1999, that we came to the government, we refused the municipality understanding that gives care only about the changing face of city by the construction works. We gave more importance to the social, cultural and educatioal works. Cegerxwin Youth Culture and Art Center, Education Support Houses, Ceren Wooman Support Center are productions of these works. Cinema and Documentary will help us to confronted with our pasts and to carry realities of the region to the nex generations.
