On Tuesday, the film "Çîrokê Bajarên wêrankirî - Stories of Destroyed Cities" by the Rojava Film Commune will be shown online. In addition, there will be an introduction to Rojava and a discussion with filmmakers from the Avakino film collective.
The GeoKino Collective regularly shows critical films and documentaries from around the world at the University of Hamburg. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, the next edition will be digital. On Tuesday, July 21, a film of the Rojava Film Commune will be shown. "Çîrokê Bajarên wêrankirî - Stories of Destroyed Cities" will be shown digitally in the original with English subtitles.
At the beginning there will be a short introduction to the region and the current situation in Rojava. Afterwards there will be a discussion with the organizers, guests and filmmakers of the Avakino Film Collective.
