Amûdê Culture and Art Center gives theater education to children

Amûdê Culture and Art Center has started to provide theater education for children.

The education that has been going on for about 20 days at Amûdê Culture and Art Center includes 10 children between the ages of 5 and 14.

There are 3 lessons per week as part of the course, each lesson lasting one and a half hours. The lessons are given by expert teacher Dilovan Kêfo.

The children are reharsing Dilovan Kêfo’s play “Meliket El Nezafe Wel Qazûrat”, about the importance of taking care of the environment.

Dilovan Kêfo told ANHA that it is important for children to gather at the center and learn theater because this develops their cultural and artistic skills.

Kêfo said: “Children have some difficulties at the beginning because of their young age, but they immediately overcome them.”

In addition to theater education, the children also sing songs and tell stories to each other.

Kêfo said that the theater education that the children receive will also be given to the children in schools, as this is a good experience for the children.
