The results of the 10th Story Award Competition dedicated to the Kurdish university student Şerzan Kurt, who was murdered by the police in Muğla, have been announced.

In the annual competition organized by the Batman Branch of Education and Science Workers Union (Eğitim Sen), awards were granted to Kenan Erdenci's "Demên Xwerû" in the Kurdish short story section, Mustafa Ünal's "Cansel" and Roza Alkan's "Underwater” in the Turkish short story section.

The "Labor Award" of the competition was given to the writer Helîm Yûsiv for his work on the Kurdish language.
