Öcalan’s 'Sociology of Freedom' translated into Greek

Abdullah Öcalan’s 'Sociology of Freedom' has been translated into Greek and presented in Athens.

Abdullah Öcalan’s Sociology of Freedom, the third volume of his Manifesto for a Democratic Civilization, has been translated into Greek and made available to readers.

An event was held at the Journalists’ Union of Athens to mark the publication, wrote the Mezopotamya News Agency (MA). Participants included Reimar Heider, translator of several of Öcalan’s works; Spiros Koruklis, director of Stasi Publishing, which released the book; and Katia Zagoritou, a researcher at the University of the Peloponnese. Professor John Holloway from Puebla University in Mexico also attended the event online. The presentation attracted numerous intellectuals and writers.

The 451-page volume features a foreword by Irish sociologist and philosopher John Holloway.

The Greek edition of Sociology of Freedom, translated by Vasilis Manolas, was published in collaboration with Meyman Publishing and Stasi Publishing.
