The 5th Children's Festival is underway in Raqqa.
The 5th Children's Festival continued on its second day with cultural and artistic activities.
150 children from the city's Culture and Arts Center participated in the festival. On the second day of the festival, the Raqqa Culture and Arts Center group performed songs from Raqqa folklore, while Koma Birah sang Kurdish songs.
The second day also saw the opening of an art exhibition. Co-chair of the Cultural Board, Lîlav Xelîl, opened the exhibition that featured 80 paintings by 23 children from the Culture and Arts Center and the Hîlala Zêrin Movement.
The children who participated in the festival also planted 50 saplings in the city's park.
A carnival parade was then held near the Saat Meydanı in the city, as well as a bicycle competition. The children then painted a mural.
On Monday evening, the orchestra gave a concert on the stage of the city's Culture and Arts Center.
Today, the third day of the festival, will be held in the village of Ebara in the north of Raqqa, and the fourth day will be held in Tabqa Canton. Thursday, the last day of the festival, will be held in Manbij Canton.
