Record result in Siirt despite external votes
In Siirt, where the AKP had more than 6,600 police and military to vote, the DEM Party won the municipality by a margin, despite all the irregularities.
The DEM Party received 36 thousand 856 votes (53 percent), while the AKP received 27 thousand 554 votes (33 percent) in Siirt (Sêrt). The DEM Party got 9 thousand 302 more votes than the AKP in the city.
In the 2019 local elections, the People's Democratic Party (HDP) received 33 thousand 227 (48 percent) votes in the city, while the AKP received 31 thousand 611 (46 percent) votes.
