Political coup: Municipal election to be renewed in Hilvan, Urfa
A decision was taken to renew the election upon the AKP's objection in the Hilvan district of Urfa where the DEM Party won the municipality in Sunday’s elections.
In the Hilvan district of Urfa, the AKP objected to results from 15 ballot boxes in Sunday’s local elections, demanding the renewal of the municipal election won by the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party).
The District Election Board decided to renew the elections in accordance with the AKP's instructions.
