The People's Equality and Democracy Party (HEDEP) Central Executive Board (MYK) convened on Sunday to discuss the process leading to the next local elections, among other issues.
The meeting discussed whether to nominate candidates in the West in the local elections and the decision to change the acronym of the party’s name after the Supreme Court did not accept it.
The meeting also decided how to act during the election process. The decisions taken will be announced by the party’s spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan later today at a press conference to be held at the HDP Headquarters at 11am.
