The Chair of the Republican People’s Party (CHP), Özgür Özel, came to DEM Party Headquarters to meet with Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan. CHP deputy chairpersons Gül Çitfçi and Gökhan Zeybek and CHP Secretary General Selin Sayek Böke accompanied Özel.

The CHP delegation was welcomed by Mehmet Rüştü Tiryaki and Özlem Gündüz from DEM Party.

Local elections are expected to be on the agenda during the visit made upon the request of CHP.

A joint press conference will be organised after the meeting.
