Fighters on two fronts of the Operation Wrath of Euphrates unite

The Operation Wrath of Euphrates to liberate Raqqa continues at full force in the second step of the third phase launched on February 4.

YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters advancing towards Raqqa from the fronts of Bîr Heba and Makman have united today.

Reports suggest that fighters have united on the Raqqa-Makman road, on the border between Deir Ez-Zor and Raqqa, as result of which tens of villages have been encircled by the fighters.

Wrath of Euphrates fighters have started mop-up operations in the areas they have cleansed of ISIS gangs.

The fighters on two fronts have met after an advance of 39 kilometers on Bîr Heba axis and 30 km on Makman axis.
