Women’s institutions in Northern and Eastern Syria come together
Women’s institutions in Northern and Eastern Syria are coming together to hold a meeting with the motto, “Build the free and democratic society with the unity of free women”.
Women’s institutions in Northern and Eastern Syria came together in the Zana Hall in Qamishlo.
Women’s assemblies in Tabqa, Raqqa, Deir Ez-Zor and Manbij as well as representatives from all women’s institutions in Northern and Eastern Syria are attending the meeting.
Yazidi, Syriac, Arab, Kurdish, Turkmen, Circassian and Armenian women are attending the meeting to discuss the construction of a new Syria after the end of ISIS occupation, the Syrian constitution and the protection of the gains achieved. The women will also form an umbrella organization for women’s organizations in Northern and Eastern Syria.
