A commemoration was organized in Borlänge, Sweden, for PKK founder Sakine Cansız, KNK Paris Representative Fidan Doğan and Youth Movement member Leyla Şaylemez, who were murdered in Paris on 9 January 2013.
The three women revolutionaries murdered in Paris were commemorated with an event in Borlänge, Sweden.
Kurdish politician Hozan Hezexi spoke at the memorial. Hezexi said that the example of resistance belonged to the many Mazlum Doğan, Hayri Durmuşlar, Sakine Cansız, Sêvê Demir and added that all the dirty policies of the Turkish state would be emptied because of the revolutionary resistance of the Kurdish people.
