A woman named Mahide Güneş Anıl was murdered in Düzce. The murderer Kemal Anıl Şenol later shot himself.

Health teams, who came to the scene after being alerted by residents of the building, determined that Mahide Güneş Anil died at the scene. Şenol, who was taken to Düzce University Hospital Emergency Service with serious injuries, also died in the hospital.

A large-scale investigation has been launched into the incident.
