A woman named S.Ü. was attacked by her husband, M.Ü. on Friday night in the neighbourhood of Mehmet Akif in Küçükçekmece, in Istanbul.

Police and medical teams came to the scene after being called by neighbours and established that S.Ü had lost her life. M.Ü was taken into custody by the police.

The lifeless body of S.Ü was brought to Yenibosna Forensic Medicine Morgue.
