The United Kurdish Women's Platform made a written statement regarding the massacre carried out by the Turkish state in the village of Perex in Zakho.
The statement said that many Iraqis and Kurds, including children and women, lost their lives as a result of the Turkish state's attack on Zakho. "We send our condolences to those who lost their lives in this massacre and wish a fast recovery to the injured. From Roboski to Shengal, from Afrin to Maxmur, hundreds of civilians are massacred by invaders every year in the four parts of the country.”
The statement continued: "We call on all women of the four parts of Kurdistan to react against this dirty war, against the massacre of civilians and the looting of Kurdistan, and to strengthen the struggle for the unity of Kurdish women and the Kurdish people."
