Kurdish women gathered for a meeting titled “Kurdish women are discussing the process” in Hotel Demir in Amed city on Saturday. The women founded United Kurdish Women’s Platform (Platforma Yekitiya Jinên Kurd) in line with the suggestions made during the meeting.

Pointing out that the platform will avoid using a militarist, male-dominated and sexist language, women said; “A principal agreement was reached to not adopt a discriminatory language in the relations among Kurds.”

The meeting of women ended with the slogan "Jin, jiyan, azadi" (Woman, life, freedom)”.
