Two-day workshop in Maxmur for Abdullah Öcalan's freedom

The workshop is organised by the Youth Women's Movement and Martyr Jiyan Academy with the slogan "In the Spirit of Sara's and Bîşeng's, Contemporary Goddesses will break the isolation and ensure the physical freedom of Leader Apo.”

A two-day workshop centred on the freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan is being held in the Martyr Rüstem Cudi Refugee Camp in the Maxmur region of southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

The workshop is organised by the Youth Women's Movement and Martyr Jiyan Academy with the slogan "In the Spirit of Sara's and Bîşeng's, Contemporary Goddesses will break the isolation and ensure the physical freedom of Leader Apo.”

The workshop, which started with a minute of silence in the morning, is expected to last for two days.

In her speech on behalf of the Young Women's Movement, Kajîn Özek said: "It is Leader Apo [Abdullah Öcalan] who has brought us to this day. Leader Apo guided us to achieve our social freedom. As long as there are women in the world, Leader Apo's thoughts and ideas of freedom will continue to exist." 

Kajîn Özerk said, "Women are getting deeper and deeper in the idea of Leader Apo every day. Leader Apo resists between four walls. We have existed with Leader Apo and we will continue our existence with him." 

After the speech, Abdullah Öcalan's analyses on women's freedom were read. The workshop continues.
