TJA and HDP Women's Assembly hold jineology work shop in Van
TJA and HDP Women's Assembly met with women at one of the events held to mark on 25 November and organized a jineology workshop in Van.
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Van Women's Assembly and Tevgera Jinên Azad (TJA) organized a jineology workshop as part of the activities to mark 25 November International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The workshop was held in the neighbourhood of Bayırlı in Edremit, province of Van. The workshop addressed the issue of femicide.
'We will stand against male violence'
Speaking at the workshop, HDP Van Provincial co-chair, Handan Karakoyun, said: "We will stand against male violence. We will never bow to this. We will continue to fight."
