Representatives of Kurdish women’s organisations arrive in Rojava

Representatives of women’s organisations that set out for Afrin from Bashure (southern) Kurdistan for solidarity with the Resistance of the Age, have crossed into Rojava through Semelka border crossing.

Representatives of 18 women’s organisations from Bashur (southern), Bakur (northern) and Rojhilat (eastern) Kurdistan have set out for Afrin from Southern Kurdistan for solidarity with the Resistance of the Age against the invasion attacks targeting the canton for 36 days. The women who arrived at Semelka border crossing at 03:00 last night and crossed into Rojava today afternoon.

The women’s delegation was welcomed by Foreign Affairs Council Deputy President Sena Deham and Kongreya Star Foreign Affairs Diplomacy Committee Member Fidan Efrîn.

The women have left for Qamishlo and will arrive in Afrin afterwards.
