Komalên Jinên Ciwan (Young Women's Communities) Coordination released a statement on the Turkish state’s genocidal attacks against Rojava seeking to invade the region.

The statement includes the following;

“Just like fascism targets every single cell of us, we should make fascism into a target everywhere. With our actions in all areas, we can inflict heavy blows against fascism.

We call upon all young women in Turkey, northern and all other parts of Kurdistan and Europe to join the resistance. In Bashur (South Kurdistan), Rojhilat (East Kurdistan), Maxmur and Shengal, young women should rush to the ranks of the YPG and YPJ - the vanguard of resistance- in Rojava in a spirit of mobilization. Schools should be boycotted, workplaces shut down, popular uprisings under the lead of women should be manifested. We call upon not only the Kurdish young women but all socialist, revolutionary, democratic and anti-system forces to take their place in the ranks of resistance.”
