The United Revolutionary Movement of Women (KBDH) said in a written statement: "Kobanê is an anathema for the occupying fascist state. Kobanê resistance and victory over ISIS, spoiled the occupiers plans for the future of the region."
The United Revolutionary Movement of Women (KBDH) statement added: "Women were at the forefront of this victory. A victory symbolized by Arin Mirkan’s action in the war. The women face of the revolution came to the fore in every aspect of life becoming its driving force."
The statement continued: “Woman, Life, Freedom (Jin, Jiyan, Azadi) is the slogan that best describes the Rojava revolution. Women's freedom level is the natural measure of the general level of freedom.”
The statement added: "Let’s take our place in the struggle for revolution and freedom, not under the ranks of the "reasonable" boundaries of the male-dominant capitalist system which uses repression, hard and violence, torture and rape:
-in order to give way to our anger against the murders of women, which turned into a kind of slaughter and to claim every woman murdered;
-to unite our struggle against the invading fascist Turkish state, which kills the prominent women figures of the Kurdish freedom struggle, Sakine, Sêvê, Hevrin Xalef, Zehra Berkel carrying out a special war policy aiming at destroying the Kurdish people;
-to make invasion and misogynist policies impractical;
-to organize our day and future, to make our own decisions.
Let's organize in the Women's Revolutionary Movement. Let's increase the fight for a world of our own, not a room of our own."
