The movement of Women Students from Kurdistan (JXK) has opened a week-long exhibition in the German city of Bielefeld to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, November 25.
The activities under the title “Femicide and Self-Defense” include exhibitions and events in various parts of the city. The activities will also be joined by the following: AJZ Bielefeld (Autonomous Youth Center), Potemkin Bar, Women’s Cultural Center Bielefeld, Club Nummer zu Platz, Mondo Bookstore, Eulenspiegel Bookstore, Welthaus Bielefeld (World House Bielefeld), Kulturhaus (Cultural House) Ostblock and IBZ Bielefeld.
The activities will handle several subjects including the Kurdish women’s liberation struggle, Shengal (Sinjar) genocider, organisation of Kurdish women against the misogynist and fascist policies of the Turkish state, Paris killings, Jineology, women’s revolution in Rojava, Jinwar women’s village, resistance of civilian women in Rojava and the organisation of YPS-JIN, Kongreya Star, women’s works within YPJ, YJŞ, YJA-STAR and HDP, Hevrin Xelef, Mother Taybet and Barin Kobane who were brutally murdered by Turkish state forces, activists Emine, Zehra and Hebun murdered by Turkish armed drones in Kobanê in June 2020.
The exhibition will be open at the Bielefeld Kurdistan Center from the 23rd to 29th of November. The visiting hours to the exhibition for the rest of the week are as follows:

29 November: 12:00-18:00
