At least 30 women murdered in Turkey in April

According to the tally compiled by JINNEWS for the month of April, at least 30 women and 2 children were murdered in Turkey in April, while 15 women and 1 child died under suspicious circumstances.

1 woman was murdered in Amed (Diyarbakır), 2 in Mersin, 1 in Edirne, 1 in Balıkesir, 2 in Antalya, 1 in Tekirdağ, 4 in İstanbul, 2 in Maraş, 2 in Ankara, 2 in Bolu, 1 in Manisa, 2 in Kayseri, 1 in Kayseri, 2 in Adıyaman, 2 in Samsun, 2 in Muğla, 1 in Karabük, 1 in Ağrı, 1 in Kırıkkale, 1 in Aydın and 1 in Çankırı.

According to the data, 11 of the slain women were murdered by the men they were married to, 1 by the man she had divorced from, 7 by the men they were in the process of divorce, 1 by her son, 1 by her brother, 3 by her cohabitant, 1 by her nephew, 2 by acquaintances, 2 by friends and 1 by her uncle.
