Another femicide in Bilecik
Cemile Nur Acar, who was seriously injured after being attacked by her husband in front of Birecik Courthouse on the day she filed a divorce petition, lost her life after 12 days of sufference.
Cemile Nur Acar was seriously injured by her husband, Onur Acar, on 16 November in Bilecik.
The woman had filed for divorce. She was wounded by her husband in front of the courthouse, where she had gone to file the petition. Her father,Abdullah Duman, was killed.
Nur Acar, who was later transferred to Eskişehir Yunus Emre State Hospital, lost her life after struggling for 12 days in the intensive care.
Suspect Onur Acar was detained and arrested on the day of the murder.
