The Medya People's House promoted a demonstration in Nuremberg Hallplatz to protest the surge in violence against women being experienced in Turkey and North Kurdistan and the ‘soft’ approach of the Turkish state towards rapists and killers. Activists carried photos of the women killed in recent weeks and chanted slogans agains the AKP-MHP regime.
In the statement made during the action, it was stated that the AKP-MHP fascist regime has a misogynistic mentality and ideology. Speakers added that "the AKP-MHP fascist regime is carrying out systematic and multi-dimensional attacks to destroy the gains women have created through struggle."
A call was issued to end the attacks against women by protecting their freedoms against all kinds of attacks aimed at what they have achieved.
