The Kurdish Women's Movement in Europe (TJK-E) has published its action plan for the International Women's Day, March 8. "Only women who fight can win", says the call of the Europe-wide umbrella organisation.
"As the Kurdish women's movement in Europe, we call for the year 2020 to be transformed into a year of joint women's struggle. Based on this we say: Let's make 2020 the year of resistance against male fascism. As a movement for women's freedom, we call on all democratic circles, all structures that organise themselves in the name of women's liberation, all revolutionary, anti-capitalist and anti-fascist associations, all ecological and feminist movements and women of all societies to organise themselves for the common struggle.”
The TJK-E announced demonstrations and actions in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Belgium, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Canada.
