Villagers kidnapped and tortured by mercenaries in Afrin

Three villagers were abducted by mercenaries and Turkish soldiers in Afrin.

Local sources in Afrin confirmed that on Saturday morning a group of about 40 people consisting of members of a Tukish-allied mercenary group and MIT (Turkish Intelligence Services) have abducted three villagers after raiding the village of Belilkna in Afrin’s Rajo district with 11 military vehicles.

The sources said that one of the kidnapped was Seyid Ehmed, and the mercenaries have tortured him before the people after receiving 200,000 Syrian Liras in ransom.

Sources also said that the other villagers kidnapped were named locally as Emir Mihemed Nur and Gulgul Mamo.

The mercenaries according to local sources tortured women and men for no reason. They go around the village instilling fear on people. Many of the victims are said to have fainted due to the savage tortures.
