The invading Turkish army continues to build a wall and dig ditches on the border of Rojava’s Efrîn Canton, also causing harm to the properties the local people living in border villages.

The Turkish army has been building a “wall of invasion” on its border with Efrîn Canton of Rojava for the past 1,5 years. The wall is being built between the Baliya village of Efrîn’s Bilbilê district, and Mercûq village of Bakurê (Northern) Kurdistan.

The inhabitants of Bilbilê are concerned and angry due to the building of the wall. People of Rajo region feel restless because of the attacks and threats of the Turkish state, and cannot take care of their crops in the fields.

Soldiers of the Turkish army are opening fire on civilians that approach the area where the wall is built.
