Democratic Autonomous Administration condemns Shengal attacks

At a press conference in Kobane the Democratic Autonomous Administration called on the international community to speak out against the Turkish state

Democratic Autonomous Administration and political parties from the Euphrates Region have made a statement on the attack of the occupying Turkish state against Shengal.

The statement, read in front of the Kobane Autonomous Administration building, was read by Ehmed Xoce, a member of the PYD (Democratic Union Party) Party Council.

The attack against Shengal was condemned and so was the AKP government that carried out an attack on the anniversary of the massacre by DAESH in the village of Kocho, in 2014.

The statement reminded of the efforts of the Movement for Freedom that defended Shengal and saved the Yazidi people from the terror of DAESH mercenaries.

The statement also underlined that the AKP government has helped the mercenaries and continues to target Kurds in Shengal, Afrin and other regions, hoping to carry out their genocidal plans.

The AKP government, said the statement, is trying to divert the attention from the real crisis it is facing by waging a total war against Kurds.

The statement called on the international community to not remain silent against the massacres ordered by Turkish president, Erdogan.
