Women in the Şêxmeqsûd and Eşrefiyê march against Turkish attacks

Hundreds of women in the Şêxmeqsûd and Eşrefiyê neighborhoods in Aleppo marched in support of the YPJ and against the attacks by the Turkish state.

Hundreds of women marched in support of the Women's defense Units (YPJ) and against the attacks by Turkey and its gangs in Şêxmeqsûd and Eşrefiyê neighborhoods in Aleppo. The march was organized by Kongra Star. 

Kongra Star Aleppo Coordination member Fehîme Hemo saluted Abdullah Öcalan and demanded his freedom. Hemo said that women must strengthen their unity to protect freedom, democracy and the achievements of the Rojava Revolution.

Hemo said: "We will continue to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs. I call on all women to unite to protect the gains made by the revolution and to have a say in determining the future of the new Syria."
