Two members of El Igêdat tribe killed in Deir ez-Zor

A prominent member of the El Igêdat tribe and his son were murdered in the village of Hewaic Zêban, located in the east of Deir ez-Zor.
The house of Sheikh Telyûş Elafî El Şetat, one of the leading names of the El-Igêdat tribe in Deir ez-Zor, was raided by unidentified people. Sheikh Telyûş Elafî El Şetat and his son Mehmud were killed.
The attack took place in the village of Hewaic Zêban in the east of Deir ez-Zor. Mehmud was serving in the branches of the Deir ez-Zor Electricity Directorate.
The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria said, “These terrorist acts are against all components of Northern and Eastern Syria. The purpose of such actions is to increase unrest in the region and to undermine the brotherhood and co-existence of the peoples in Northern and Eastern Syria."
