The Afrin Human Rights Organization said in a statement that the paramilitary criminal apparatus of the occupying Turkish state, the so-called "Military Police", kidnapped a citizen named Eli Ebdurehman Mihemed Ali (43) from the village of Qizilbaşa village in Bilbilê, in occupied Afrin on Sunday, 4 February.

In 2023, the Turkish state forcibly sent Mihemed Ali to Afrin as part of its policy of deporting Syrian refugees from Turkey.
