According to sources in the city of Mabeta in Afrin, which is under occupation in Afrin, proxies affiliated with the Turkish state have kidnapped dozens of men and young people in the city center.

It was learned that the "Emşat" gangs demanded ransom from the families of the abducted people in exchange for their release.

Some of those abducted were named as follows: Xelîl Bêrem, Mihemed Bêrem, Mihemed Yûsif, Ciwan Yûsif, Arif Yûsif, Şiyar Yûsif, Îbo Şabo, Luqman Şabo, Mihemed Welîd Şabo, Arif Yûsif (70), Luqman El Omer (50), Îbrahîm Izet Şabo, Îbrahîm Mistefa and Rêzan Omer.
