Representatives of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the Autonomous Administration, and the Syrian Democratic Council held a tripartite meeting to discuss the implementation of the provisions of the agreement signed with Damascus on 10 March, as well as cooperation in the fight against ISIS. Preparations for a national conference were also addressed during the meeting.

The meeting was attended by SDF General Commander Mazloum Abdi, Rohilat Efrîn from the General Command of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), the Co-Presidents and executives of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, and the Co-Presidency of the Syrian Democratic Council.

The meeting focused on the implementation of the provisions of the agreement signed on 10 March between SDF General Commander Mazloum Abdi and Syria's interim president, Ahmed al-Sharaa. Discussions also covered the conditions for launching negotiations to implement the agreement, which coincided with the Autonomous Administration delegation's departure to Damascus to initiate the first round of dialogue.

Ways to cooperate with the Syrian Ministry of Defense in the fight against ISIS were also discussed, along with the situation in the camps and prisons where tens of thousands of ISIS members are held.

The meeting welcomed the decision by the United States and the European Union to lift sanctions on Syria, emphasizing the importance of this decision for Syria's reconstruction and development. It was noted that the lifting of sanctions could contribute to reinforcing security and stability in Syria and facilitate the return of displaced persons and refugees to their cities and villages.

It was also decided during the meeting to begin preparations for a comprehensive national conference involving the components of North and East Syria to discuss how to implement the 10 March agreement.
