Three fighters laid to rest in Qamishlo

Qamishlo Martyrs' Families Assembly held a ceremony at Delil Saruxan graveyard to bid farewell to 3 SDF fighters who fell martyr in the resistance against the Turkish state and its mercenaries nvasion attacks in North and East Syria.

PYD co-chair Şahoz Hesen and hundreds of people attended the ceremony organised by Qamishlo Martyrs' Families Assembly to bid farewell to 3 SDF fighters.

Speaking at the ceremony, Shahoz Hesen said: "The Turkish state wants to carry out massacres against all peoples in the region. The Kurdish people are not only fighting for their freedom. The Kurdish people are resisting on behalf of all humanity. The flame in the face of the persecution in Kurdistan will not be extinguished until the victory is achieved."

Hesen added: "Those who wanted the Kurdish people to remain without organisation carried out a conspiracy in which 5 of our friends fell martyrs in the first days of the aggression. However, the Rojava revolution has frustrated all conspiracies. With the struggle and resistance we put forward, we will overcome all the attacks carried out by the enemy. The whole world supports this struggle of the peoples of North and East Syria."

Refini Şêxmus, a member of the Martyrs' Families Assembly, read the identity document of the martyrs and handed them over to their families.

Martyr Eli Qamishlo's uncle Tolhildan said: "There are hundreds of families like us. Our slogan in this resistance is not victory or death but victory or victory."

SDF fighters Eli Eli (Eli Qamishlo) fell martyr in Mehmudiye village in Til Temir on 1 November 2019, YPG fighter Dilbirin Mihemed (Dilbirin) in Hesiniyê village in Til Hemis on 4 December and Mezlum Remedan (Mezlum) in Til Birak on 4 December.
